Much of my time as an artist is spent in solitude giving expression to my own reflections & discoveries. I love this about my art, as in this way, it feels like both a gift and an offering. Yet creativity in a vacuum can be lonely at times, and this is where working together with others to bring their visions alive adds layers of beauty & meaning that are not possible alone.

  • Do you have an idea that you would like to express with botanical art? What does it look like? Why do you want to create it? Does it have a story behind it?
  • Are you getting married and want to preserve your bouquet in a way that expresses the unique beauty of your relationship?
  • Are you a gardener? Do you want to find a way to turn the fruits of your labor into a piece of art on your wall?

Let’s talk! I’d love to work with you to create a piece of art that you can truly call your own. Whether you want something similar to work I have already done on the My Art Page, or whether you want to venture into new landscape together, I’m here. I look forward to connecting with you! My contact information is on the Contact page.

Below are a couple projects I have done for others. They can serve to give you a sense of what collaboration looks like, and allow you to contemplate possibilities.

This piece was made for a couple who got married and share a passion for sky-diving! The bride wanted a way to preserve the blossoms from their wedding while also turning an activity she and her spouse enjoy together into a work of art. This was the result which now adorns their living room wall!

After the wedding, the bride’s bouquet was mailed to me via express delivery. I took snapdragon, delphinium, lepidium and eucalyptus from her bouquet and pressed them. Then I added other blossoms and ferns from my own collection to create this image. The piece is 18″ x 24.”

This piece was created to celebrate a gardener’s love of the drift roses that turn his yard into a celebration of color every summer. I arranged a day (which happened to be Summer Solstice in June, thus its name!) to pick several blossoms from his garden and then took them home with me to press them. After that, we worked together to create this design. I added wildflowers and greens from my own collection to complete the image. The piece is 24″ x 18″.
